Am I right or wrong ?. I ordered two custom bumper stickers…?
that say " We love Paiten !!" for my wife and my cars to celebrate the pending early October birth of my granddaughter. I went to put them on yesterday and my wife told me I should wait for the birth because it would be bad luck to put them on before she was born. What do you think ?

I would wait until the baby is born.
Well I personally don’t feel it would be "bad luck" but if your wife does try to humor her a little. Everyone has their own beliefs and ideas, and while sometimes they may not make sense, those ideas and beliefs can be pretty strong. If you must put the bumpers stickers on now though ask your daughter or daughter in law- whoever is carrying what she thinks and then have her talk to your wife about it.
Even if, god forbid, something should go wrong you still love your granddaughter right?
I think it’s just a superstition. You make your own luck.

Well, I’m a bit superstitious, but I wouldn’t want to invite trouble. Wait until you get to hold her healthy and happy in your arms, else it could tragically turn into a memorial bumper sticker rather than a happy thing. It’s nice to hear about a set of grandparents that is very excited about an upcoming birth.

It’s superstition and I don’t believe in it, but I would wait until the baby is born and you have had a change to see her. Just seems to make more sense that way to me. Just a feeling though.

My huspand would go for the quiet life and wait! and if something were to happen think how you would feel even though it would have nothing to do with the bumper sticker
No way! I’d put it up!!! That’s so awesome that you are so excited!!! A lot of people decorate for their parties before hand!!! The only superstition I’ve heard was that its bad luck to set up the crib before 8 months I set mine up the day I got it and I think I was about 4 months! and I think the mommy and daddy to be would be really happy to see that!!!
id just wait. u never know. god forbid u put them on and something bad happens. then everytime u got out to ur car ur gonna b reminded of ur grand baby. ur wife makes scence but its ur choice. and CONGRATES!!
