Everyone has their own beliefs and ideas, and while sometimes they may not make sense, those ideas and beliefs can be pretty strong. If you must put the bumpers stickers on now though ask your daughter or daughter in law- whoever is carrying what she thinks and then have her talk to your wife about it. The only superstition I've heard was that its bad luck to set up the crib before 8 months I set mine up the day I got it and I think I was about 4 months! and I think the mommy and daddy to be would be really happy to see that!!!
