Any room decorating tips?

I’m a girl and I’m 15. I started re-doing my room a while ago. I took out my closet door and put in dark blue curtains and I got a new desk. I’m getting a full sized bed: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=1011&f=14690&q=porto&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1
I am thinking of getting a zebra rug or maybe zebra wallpaper. My room right now is blue, and I’m sick of it. I wanted to put a border like 40 inches or so from the floor and have it go around the room. I want to put some kind of wallpaper on the bottom and paint the top a solid color or vertical stripes. And I want to stick some kind of decal or removable wall stickers on my wall.

Yes, it makes the room look bigger and I like it so much better than the sliding doors I used to have.
