Beer fridge decorating tips?

Please, no more "Logo Paper" recommendations, I’ve heard that one from Everybody I’ve talked to.

Also, my artistry skills are greatly lacking, my 4 year old niece does a better stick-man than I do. I’m quite good with spray paint though!

I need something that will be water proof or that I can use a clear lacquer over. Paper bubbles or crinkles when it is lacquered.

I’ve had some ideas for clear plastic decals, but local print shops won’t do any trademarks, so I need this to be do-it-yourself.
