Is it illegal not to display expired registration stickers? Counterfeit …?
I am stationed on a military base, and my car is currently enrolled in state. Today, I got a ticket for not having registration on my vehicle. I been mentioned while I was away from my vehicle and my vehicle was parked. The funny thing is, my car is currently registered and that since March this year. I had proof of registration in my glove box (with the expiration sticker that I had to put on the plate registration). So I forgot to put the expiration printed on the license plate. Is it illegal to do so even if I had proof of registration inside the car? I simply forgot to put the sticker on the plate. Is there a way to fight against it? It is not in your glove compartment, it belongs to your plate. No, the ticket is not true. It is contrary to a law not to have thumbnails current registration.
