Help w/ decorating 14 year old girl’s room?

Okay, so I have some ideas:
I think I want to colors to be lavender, pink, and a soft green. Are those colors too young for 14?
I was thinking that the walls could be lavender, and then I could find a green bedspread and accent it w/ some colorful pillows. I was also thinking that I could get a green beanbag to put in the corner (there is a purple chandelier over that corner…I thought it would look kind of cool) and a rug w/ either all 3 colors on it or pink (in the center of the room). Also, some wall decals like the ones in PBTeen might look cool… And finally, I thought that it would be awesome if I could find some pink/green drapes to hang over my windows…
Is all of this a good idea? Tell me what you think!
Oh, and if you have any other suggestions about colors, furniture, or accessories/accents of some kind, I would appreciate it. Also, some cool stores to buy this stuff from…? Thank you so much anyone who answers this!!
