How can I make a custom sticker or decal?

I’m in a band and we’re gonna start playing some gigs and we want to make a sticker or decal with our band’s logo to put it on the bass drum. What king of paper can I use for this?

you can pay a lot of money to zazzle or cafepress, you can have a signshop make one.

I have used these guys, they are about 1/2 the cost of a local signshop…

Alternatively, you can get custom stickers done in a similar size from Zazzle.com or CafePress.com.

If you want something larger, you can go to etsy.com and search for "vinyl wall decal." Visit the stores of sellers who make these decals, and pick someone who sounds friendly. Oftentimes a seller who is willing to do custom orders will say "Feel free to contact me with special requests" or something similar, look for one of them. Vinyl decals can be made to be very large, so that’s probably the best method to use.
