What do you use to design a custom motorcycle?
I want to put a custom symbol on my bike for the highlight of rest. It is a simple design gesture. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e124/Custom_Samurai/GreatWhite.gif What would be the best option. A sticker (some something like a sticker) or should I have it painted by someone. Env. price too if possible, thx.
This depends on a number of things. Since your design is a silhouette in black and white, one option would be to have the white part of the design cut in vinyl in a color that contrasts well with your bike. For example, if the bike is a dark color such as black, with the design cut white vinyl would give the visual image as the design of your example. This can be done very cheaply too. Probably less than $ 20. Look for a local sign company. The next option would be to have painted design. Even with this there are several options. You could mask and paint it yourself or have someone airbrush it on. In both cases be sure to clean the area with a good pre-paint solvent to get all the wax and grease or paint will not adhere properly. If you will certainly do that for you. The advantage of painting is that the design becomes much more permanent. Having done what is expected to cost between $ 50 – $ 500 depending on the size of the design.
