How do I apply decals on models?
I just bought an ME 262 jet fighter German WWII. It comes with stickers but I have no idea how to apply or how the instructions say. And no, they are not stickers. How do I apply? Easy 10 points for the one who contributes the most. Thumbs up for Strange answer irrelevant!
Basic instructions for applying decals – The purpose to decaled must have a glossy surface clean and relatively smooth. – Cut out lettering sticker and immerse in clean water (preferably distilled water) 10 to 20 seconds. Note: Some characters can take an immersion time longer than other leaves. Defining the sticker on a napkin wet paper for a short period of time or until the decal slides freely on the backing paper. – Place Decal wherever you want on the subject. It could be useful if a layer of micro-Set is brushed on the first object, then place the sticker. This process will allow the decal to avoid the effect Silvering can happen with just water.
